A single ochre estate among olive and pomegranate trees in El Ouidane, in the countryside south of Marrakech. The main house opens its bays onto the pool and lawn, and the bedrooms are spread between the villa and the garden pavilions. Everything is designed for large families: daily breakfast and housekeeping included, chef on site, hammam, games for the children. Rated 5.0.

The spaces

A vast lounge with grey sofas and a stone fireplace, dining room with green velvet chairs for sixteen, library, TV with Netflix, fully equipped light-wood kitchen with coffee machine. Seven air-conditioned bedrooms with coloured bedspreads, saffron, raspberry, midnight blue, bays onto the garden, two twin rooms for children, dressing rooms. Eight and a half bathrooms in wood and stone, one corner whirlpool tub. Massage room and hammam in beige tadelakt. Wi-Fi, workspace, filtered water.

Outside

Private pool heated from October to April, loungers, garden lounges under the pergolas, roof terrace with views over the countryside and palms, table tennis, football goal on the lawn, olive grove, cypress-lined drive, parking within the grounds.

The service

Daily Moroccan breakfast and housekeeping included. Chef on site for meals, €30 per adult and €20 per child per day. Massages and hammam treatments on request.

Around

El Ouidane, countryside south of Marrakech, 20 to 30 minutes from the Medina and the airport. Check-in at 3 pm, check-out at 11 am, no pets, quiet from 10 pm to 8 am, smoking outdoors only. Passports to be sent 24 hours before arrival.
