A cube of pale stone set on the water: the pool wraps around the house and the floor-to-ceiling glass gives the feeling of living inside the pool. Inside, walnut clads the walls and headboards, the fittings are black, the marble white. Villa no. 7 of the W Resort, a quiet gated estate, is accessed independently by keypad lock.

A through living room with anthracite-grey sofas, walnut TV unit, oval marble table for eight under a glass pendant, white island kitchen with built-in oven, hob and fridge, bar corner. Four suites with upholstered king beds, sage green or white, walnut panelling, wooden dressing rooms, each with a veined-marble bathroom, black basin and walk-in shower. A fifth shower room. Wi-Fi, workspace, air conditioning.

Outside

Private L-shaped pool along two facades, heatable as an option at 400 dirhams per day, stone terrace, loungers, lawn and hedges, a lone palm, night lighting, parking within the residence.

Self check-in by keypad lock. Breakfast prepared on request at 300 dirhams excluding ingredients. End-of-stay cleaning included.
