Maison Meurisse Tlata, private 5-bedroom riad, daily breakfast

Maison Meurisse Tlata was a family home for fifteen years before opening to travellers, and it shows: white walls and columns with carved capitals, black joinery, grey sofas, raffia suns and framed prints, old cement tiles. A sober, spacious riad, fully private, on the edge of the Kasbah.

The spaces

On the ground floor, around the patio, a central dining room, two lounges, one with a Smart TV, the other with a fireplace, a fully equipped midnight-blue kitchen with dishwasher and coffee machine, and a king bedroom with bathroom. Upstairs, four spacious bedrooms with king beds, white sheets and grey fabric headboards, wooden benches, each with a private bathroom in black, terracotta, blue or green zellige. Seven beds, sleeps twelve. Cot, high chair and baby bath on loan. Fibre Wi-Fi.

Outside

On the roof, a vast white terrace under a pergola: daybeds with green cushions, low lounge, high table, loungers, potted palms, open shower and a kitchen corner with washing machine. Views over the roofs and sky of the Kasbah.

The service

Housekeeper every day, breakfast served from 8 to 11:30, fibre Wi-Fi included. Meals on request: starter and main €15 per person, with dessert €20. Airport transfer €20 for up to 6 guests, €30 beyond.

Around

Kasbah, about 10 minutes on foot from the Agdal Gardens and Jemaa el-Fna. Quiet in the evening, booked guests only.
