Palmeraie villa riad, 5 suites, heated pool and rooftop

In the heart of the Palmeraie, in a quiet gated residence, this villa is built like a riad: the rooms open onto an open-air patio where the heated pool, edged in black-and-white zellige, takes centre stage. White walls, arcades, rattan pendants, potted banana trees and olive trees, a solid wood table by the water: the décor is authentic and restrained. The villa is reserved for the guests of the booking only.

The spaces

A lounge with white sofas and black cushions, screen with Netflix, open to the patio through arcades. A light-wood dining room for a dozen guests and a fully equipped white kitchen, oven, microwave, washing machine. Five spacious suites with ochre, orange or saffron walls, queen beds or twin beds, linen curtains, lanterns; each with its own black mosaic bathroom and walk-in shower. Workspace, Wi-Fi, air conditioning. Seven beds, sleeps thirteen.

Outside

The 7 by 3.5 metre heated pool in the middle of the patio, then the rooftop: outdoor bar, daybed under a pergola, sofas and raffia parasols, views over the palms, the residence roofs and the Atlas. Entrance through a courtyard planted with palms and cacti, free on-site parking.

Palmeraie, 20 minutes by car from the Medina and Gueliz. Family residence: unmarried Moroccan or mixed couples are not admitted under the residence rules. Car or driver recommended.
